Answer: An example of Tarot Nouveau [New Tarot], specifically one first published in 1890.  The designs are based on those of Conrad Ludwig Wüst, who first published them in 1865.

Players of Tarot the game, which is still popular in France, regularly use Tarot Nouveau decks; they are not typically used for esoteric purposes.  The double-ended Trumps (e.g., below, left) include genre scenes of 19th-century life.  The suited cards (e.g., below, right) look similar to standard playing cards.
